Supergirl and White Canary may not seem like the selfie types, but the two teamed up for a glorious behind-the-scenes photo.

Actress Caity Lotz, who has played White Canary on "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" and "Arrow," posted the shot of her and "Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist to her Instagram on Saturday, accompanied by the caption "Seriously super."

The two likely took the photo while filming the upcoming four-part crossover that will united the superheroes of "The Flash," "Supergirl," "Legends of Tomorrow" and "Arrow" in a fight against the gene-manipulating DC Comics alien race the Dominators.

Marc Guggenheim, executive producer of "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow," announced last week that the crossover draws inspiration from DC's 1988-89 event "Invasion!," in which the Dominators assembled a coalition to invade Earth, with the apparent goal of eliminating the threat posed by the planets metahumans. However, unknown the other members of the alien alliance, the Dominators intended to harness the metagene and create their own army of superhumans.

The CW's superheroes return to action beginning Tuesday, Oct. 4, with the Season Three premiere of "The Flash," followed Wednesday, Oct. 5, by the Season Five premiere of "Arrow," Monday, Oct. 10, by the Season Two premiere of "Supergirl," and Thursday, Oct. 13, by the Season Two premiere of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow." The four-way crossover will air in December.
