Jared Leto went to great lengths to get inside the mind of the Joker for his role in "Suicide Squad," including sending his fellow co-stars highly inappropriate gifts. Viola Davis, who plays Amanda Waller in the film, was previously reported as safe from Leto's pranks. Now Davis is sharing some of her experiences on the film, which did include a sketchy gift from Leto: a box of bullets.

"We all got gifts from Jared. I got bullets, in a box," Davis said in an interview with E! Online. "There was a part of me that wanted to say, and have my pepper spray out, you remember that bullet you sent me?" When asked how it made her feel, Davis said she was "worrisome," and "nervous."

Davis also shared that until she saw Leto again at an award show, she had only ever met him as his Joker persona. "Every single person in ["Suicide Squad"] gets to be completely insane because all the characters are insane. They're bad guys, we're all bad guys."

Directed by David Ayer and starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, "Suicide Squad" opens in theaters August 5.
