After making her debut in the DC Films universe as Harley Quinn, actor Margot Robbie will make another debut of sorts next month.

The "Suicide Squad" star has been tapped to host the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” on Oct. 1, with musical guest The Weeknd.

In addition to starring as Harley Quinn in DC's villain team-up blockbuster, Robbie has also appeared in "Wolf of Wall Street," "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" and "Focus" alongside fellow "Suicide Squad" castmate Will Smith. She is currently developing a standalone Harley Quinn movie with DC and Warner Bros., which she will star in and produce.

NBC's "Saturday Night Live" returns for its 42nd season with a few cast shakeups. Gone are Jay Pharoah, Taran Killam and Jon Rudnitsky, with a quartet of new castmembers including Mikey Day, Alex Moffat and Melissa Villasenor joining the long-running sketch show.
