Empire Magazine subscribers will be receiving a snazzy, exclusive cover this month celebrating the release of the upcoming "Suicide Squad" movie. The cover features Margot Robbie, playing Harley Quinn in the film, brandishing a baseball bat and riding a bomb against a black-and-white ink background.

The rad "Dr. Strangelove"-inspired cover art is an exclusive perk for subscribers, but the latest edition of Empire will be available for everyone else on July 28, 2016. No word yet on what will take the subscriber cover's place in the retail version.

Of course, a cover is nothing without content. The September issue is themed around "Suicide Squad" and features expansive details on the movie. Empire's site promises a long chat with director David Ayer about his unorthodox directing style (he refers to it as nearing "a North Korean prison camp"), as well as a round of cast interviews.

"Suicide Squad" is an adaptation of the comic book series by the same name in which villains from the DC Comics Universe team-up to perform clandestine operations for the government. The film is written and directed by David Ayer and stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto and Viola Davis.

"Suicide Squad" is scheduled for release August 5, 2016.
