Once you've called yourselves the "worst heroes ever," is there really a need for an Honest Trailer? The good people at Screen Junkies seem to think so, because they made one for "Suicide Squad".

You can tell by the narrator's tone of voice that he doesn't know what to make of "Suicide Squad's" "mixed reviews" (Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 27% from critics, while 64% of the audience said they liked it), but the third addition to the DCEU was ripe with fodder for satire. The last Honest Trailer look at DC was directed at the CW's "The Flash," but that video explicitly praised the show before digging into it. This time around, however, any praise tends to be a lot more backhanded, and most of it is reserved for the ever-charming Will Smith.

This trailer leaves no stone unturned. It highlights the behind-the-scenes struggle "Suicide Squad" became notorious for, rips apart the marketing and makes fun of the big sky laser conclusion, managing to tear "The Avengers" down in the process.

And then there's the Joker. Honest Trailers has plenty to say about Jared Leto's portrayal of the Clown Prince of Crime, and none of it is very complimentary. In fact, the only character who comes out looking worse is Katana, who is accused of having no purpose for being in this film whatsoever.

While many DC fans found a lot to enjoy in "Suicide Squad," the overall narrative does not cast the DC series of films in the most flattering light. Honest Trailers may not have a side in the fandom wars between DC and Marvel, but they take no prisoners when it comes to superhero movies. If you like to laugh, watch their latest as they send up "One-Eyed Willie," "Daddy's Little Cosplayer" and the rest of DC's "worst heroes ever."

Past “Honest Trailers” have aimed its pointed criticism at shows like “The Walking Dead” and “Game of Thrones” (twice!), as well as other comic book movies such as “TMNT: Out of the Shadows,” “Deadpool” and the mostly beloved “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
