The fourth season of Netflix's Stranger Things has finally wrapped filming, and fans can expect a new teaser trailer to be released in the near future.

Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, confirmed that Season 4 recently wrapped filming in a recent interview with YouTube user oh so isabella. "We just finished, like last week," Schnapp replied when asked if he was still filming Stranger Things. "We're done. We've been filming forever. And they're finally done. They're putting together another teaser."

Filming on Stranger Things Season 4 was originally slated to begin in January 2020 and conclude around August of that year, with a teaser arriving in February 2020. However, filming ceased in March 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Production remained shut down for six months, finally resuming in September 2020. A new teaser trailer arrived earlier this year in May, with another following suit in August, just last month. The August teaser confirmed that Stranger Things Season 4 would arrive on Netflix sometime in 2022.

The first season of Stranger Things originally dropped on Netflix on July 15, 2016. Seasons 2 and 3 released on Oct. 27, 2017 and July 4, 2019, respectively. Schnapp has played the role of Will since Season 1, having started as a recurring player before being promoted to a series regular in Season 2.

Stranger Things Season 4 is slated to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2022.
