Yes, there have been Star Wars shot glasses before -- but none are as movie accurate as the latest concoction being sold by The Fowndry.

Modelled after Andrew Ainsworth’s original 1976 helmet mold, these Stormtrooper shot glasses are about as close as you can get to drinking directly from a Stormtrooper helmet. How cool is that?

Selling for $15 each -- or $22 as a pair -- the Stormtrooper shot glasses fit 150ml each, enough for a shot of Jameson or an ounce of blue milk, should you be inclined.

The official product description for the Stormtrooper shot glasses reads:

Aren’t you a bit shot to be a Stormtrooper? Perfect for sinking a few rounds of Corellian brandy at the Mos Eisley Cantina, the Original Stormtrooper Shot Glass is based on the authentic helmet moulds created by industrial designer Andrew Ainsworth in 1976.

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away (well, Twickenham, South West London), Andrew was busy developing new plastic moulding techniques for his company, Shepperton Design Studios, when he was approached to turn some fantastic but potentially tricky to manufacture design concepts into usable props.

Fortunately for him – and us – he kept hold of the moulds and those designs became timeless masterpieces. Almost 40 years on from that happy event, you too can own a piece of film history in the form of this miniature, movie accurate replica Stormtrooper helmet, which can also – praise be to the Immortal God-King of Prakith! – hold 150ml of your favourite tipple.

Who shot first? Over to you...
