Silicon Valley Comic Con, the San Jose, California, convention conceived by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, has announced the programming for its inaugural event in March.

As you might expect, the panels reach beyond comic books and popular culture to include science and technology, and gaming. Highlights include a conversation with William Shatner, a Q&A with Mythbusters co-host Adam Savage, presentations about space exploration and traveling to Mars, a look at the impact of technology on comics, cosplay on a budget, and a discussion about creating languages for science fiction and fantasy.

Announced in April, Silicon Valley Comic Con will feature such guests as Stan Lee, Jeremy Renner, Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Andy Wier, Bob Layton, Liam Sharp, Bret Blevins and Danielle Teller.

The event will be held March 18-20 at the San Jose Convention Center. Wozniak has also announced Tokyo Comic Con, scheduled for December.
