Could Stephen Hawking present a problem for Britain's number one super-spy? The scientist sure thinks so.

In a recent conversation with Wired (via The Guardian), the renowned theoretical physicist said he wants to play a villain in the James Bond franchise.

"My ideal role would be a baddie in a James Bond film,” he said. “I think the wheelchair and the computer voice would fit the part.”

The author of A Brief History of Time and subject of the biopic The Theory of Everything, Hawking has appeared on Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Simpsons and The Big Bang Theory.

Sony Pictures will announce the title and cast for the 24th Bond film on Thursday, but it's known that Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris will reprise their franchise roles. Directed by Sam Mendes , the film will hit theaters on Nov. 6, 2015.
