If this week's crossover action on the CW's "The Flash" and "Arrow" has you hungry for more superhero team-ups, Stephen Amell wants you to know that he agrees. The man who plays super-archer Oliver Queen told USA Today that he would be down to pack up his bow and arrow and head to either Fox's "Gotham" or NBC's "Constantine" for a guest appearance -- all in order to give the fans what they want.

"I know the logistics are challenging and the politics are above my pay grade, but in the interest of putting the best product forth for the fans, I don't think we should limit ourselves to 'Flash' and 'Arrow' crossing over because we're both on the CW," said Amell. "If you're owned by Warner Bros., or if you're just in the DC Universe, everything should be in play."

That second part is where the difficulty lies. While all of the shows are based on DC Comics properties, the networks are not so easily aligned. Fox is owned by 21st Century Fox and NBC is part of NBCUniversal -- two company's that can be viewed as Warner Bros.' competition. That's the "logistics" and "politics" Amell was referring to.

Crossover fans need not give up hope, however. "Flash" and "Arrow" co-showrunner Greg Berlanti has another DC Comics crossover in mind should the in-development "Supergirl" take flight over on CBS. A crossover between CBS and the CW seems more likely to occur since the former network owns 50% of the latter one.

"The Flash" and "Arrow" crossover event continues tonight on the CW.
