No cast members have been officially announced for Star Wars: Episode VII -- well, except for R2-D2 -- but that doesn't mean the project isn't speeding toward principal photography.

J.J. Abrams' take on the Star Wars mythos will begin filming on May 14, according to Devin Faraci of Badass Digest. He cites a source he trusts "implicitly," saying the production will spend two weeks on location in Morocco.

Could this mean the new Star Wars movie will return to Tatooine, home planet of Anakin and Luke Skywalker? That's the popular theory, and it would certainly fit thematically, as both of the previous Star Wars trilogies featured Tatooine in their opening films (Tunisia doubled as the desert planet in both 1977's A New Hope and 1999's The Phantom Menace).

Star Wars: Episode VII is set for release on Dec. 18, 2015.
