Supreme Leader Snoke is stepping out of the shadows. Following the release of LEGO and action figure versions of the character, the Topps Star Wars Card Trader app has provided a new, up-close look at Snoke, giving fans a definitive idea of what they can expect to see in The Last Jedi.

The image, which was revealed by MakingStarWars.net, shows Snoke draped in a golden robe, but the true focal point of the image is the large S-curve scar that spans from his sinister brow to his forehead.

It will be interesting to see if Snoke's numerous scars are a result of his full embracing of the Dark Side, a la Palpatine, or if they're given a different in-film explanation. Nevertheless, he certainly looks intimidating in this new image.

Arriving Dec. 15, director Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Domhnall Gleeson as General Armitage Hux, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma and Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke.
