Continuing its "Star Wars" rollout, Entertainment Weekly has released 20 or so new images from "The Force Awakens," accompanied by a few new details about the hotly anticipated film.

Most of the new information centers on the First Order Stormtroopers, whom star John Boyega reveals are indoctrinated from birth to be soldiers and to hate the Rebellion and Luke Skywalker, "a villain who destroyed the benevolent Empire.”

What's more, that familiar look exchanged between Boyega's Finn and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron wasn't just a figment of your imagination. As many fans deduced (and as a new image illustrates), they met before, under unpleasant circumstances.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" also stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver,  Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max Von Sydow. The film opens Dec. 18 in North America.
