After releasing a new image of Captain Phasma on Monday, "Empire" magazine strikes back with six "Star Wars"-themed covers featuring some of the stars of "The Force Awakens."

There's Daisy Ridley's Rey with the ubiquitous BB-8; Gwendoline Christie's Captain Phasma flanked by a battalion of First Order stormtroopers; John Boyega's Finn wielding that blue lightsaber; Oscar Isaac's X-wing pilot Poe Dameron; Adam Driver's mysterious antagonist Kylo Ren; and Harrison Ford's Han Solo, accompanied by Peter Mayhew's Chewbacca.

"Empire's" special "Star Wars" issue goes on sale Thursday. Directed by J.J. Abrams, "The Force Awakens" also stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels and Max Von Sydow. The film opens Dec. 18 in North America.
