With the Skywalker Saga now complete following the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Lucasfilm has officially announced the home video release date and special features for Episode IX.

The film will be released on digital HD and 4K UHD on March 17, with the physical 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD release set for March 31. Select retailers will offer a boxed set of all nine Episodes bundled together for the first time (neither Rogue One or Solo were included in the announcement). Lucasfilm has also listed the full list of special features included with the home video release, along with a new trailer showcasing Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron teaming up for one last battle to save the galaxy from the First Order.

The Skywalker Legacy – The story lives forever in this feature-length documentary that charts the making of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Cast of Creatures – The team behind the film’s memorable creatures reveal the puppetry, makeup, prosthetics and digital magic that bring them to life!

Select digital retailers will also include an additional featurette spotlighting longtime franchise composer John Williams:

The Maestro’s Finale – Composer John Williams reflects on his body of work for the Star Wars saga and shares insights on scoring Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

To coincide with The Rise of Skywalker's physical home video release, eight previous films in the franchise are being released in the 4K UHD format for the first time: Episodes I-VII and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
