Lucasfilm continues the promotional roll-for the upcoming Disney XD animated series Star Wars Rebels with the debut of Zeb, the highly intelligent strongman, and Sabine, a Mandolrian weapons expert.

Zeb voice actor Steve Blum, who has a number of cartoon and video game roles under his belt, also has a bit of a history with the Star Wars franchise: He's voiced characters in about a dozen Star Wars video games, including Star Wars: The Old Republic in 2011.

“He’s got a bit of a chip on his shoulder, hates Chopper and is starting to build a relationship with Ezra, begrudgingly,” Blum said of Zeb.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter scored an exclusive look at Sabine, the "spunky" character voiced by Tiya Sircar (The Internship).

"She's adding something that we haven't really seen before in the Star Wars universe," said Joel Aron, CG supervisor of lighting and FX. "You have a character that is expressively creative through art -- whether it's the color of her hair or what she's done to her armor."

The two characters join the previously revealed Ezra, Kanan, Chopper and The Inquisitor in the series, set about 14 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, at “a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape.”

Star Wars Rebels will debut as a one-hour special this summer on Disney Channel before moving in the fall to Disney XD.
