Disney has released a special look at The Mandalorian during ESPN's coverage of Monday Night Football.
The clip features the titular character entering a bar, with some of the locals not too pleased with his presence. Of course, this leads to a brawl that results in the Mandalorian capturing a bounty and freezing him in Carbonite.
In particular, one gentleman is pretty upset that the Mandalorian's entrance made him spill his drink. The man even calls the Mandalorian "Mando," which sounds like a slur coming out of his mouth. When a group tries to intimidate our star, the bartender attempts to break the tension by sending a drink down the bar. However, the Mandalorian grabs the drink and quickly delivers punches to his intimidators.
One shifty alien tries to use the fight as a distraction to escape, but the Mandalorian fires a cable from his wrist gauntlet to tie up his feet. Next, they trade some blaster shots that result in the door being closed on his midsection. One of the last visuals is the alien's upper half encased in the same carbonite that befell Han Solo in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
Created by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. The series debuts Nov. 12 on Disney+, the same date as the streaming service's official launch.
