Director Rian Johnson has celebrated the completion of Star Wars: The Last Jedi with a photo of the film's post-production team.

"Aaaand that’s a wrap on the hardest working post production team in the galaxy," the filmmaker wrote on Instagram. "Going to miss sitting in dark rooms with these goobers."

This will undoubtedly come as welcome news for the franchise faithful eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new trailer. There was some buzz recently when Mark Hamill deleted a tweet that seemed to indicate a new trailer will debut on Oct. 9. However, as usual, Lucasfilm has kept most of the details of The Last Jedi under wraps, releasing one trailer and a quick behind-the-scenes video to date.

Wrapping post-production could bode well for those whose fingers are crossed that new footage arrives soon hinting at what's next to come for Luke Skywalker, his training of Rey and how Kylo Ren and Supreme Leader Snoke continue the First Order's stranglehold on the galaxy.

Arriving Dec. 15, director Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran.
