While The Force Awakens saw Resistance forces trying to take down Starkiller Base, the planet-sized weapon influenced in no small part by the original Star Wars trilogy's Death Star, it looks like Rey, Finn and company are in for even more large-scale threats in The Last Jedi. The Star Wars Show has officially revealed two new transport weapons employed by the First Order, both of which owe a large bit of credit to their Imperial predecessors. Check out the video below, with the designs featured around the one minute mark:

First up is the AT-M6 (All Terrain Megacaliber Six), a redesign of the original trilogy's classic AT-AT model that also features an imposing mounted cannon. While still relying on four legs for transport, the two front limbs end in folded-forward feet reminiscent of a primate's, hence the "Gorilla Walker" nickname that's been floating around the Internet.

Next is the First Order Dreadnaught, which looks like an Imperial Destroyer on steroids. The starship is purported to be one of the largest vehicles in any Star Wars entry, and will also house Emperor Snoke for a large portion of the upcoming episode. Again, the First Order design seems to literally build upon past Imperial armadas, recalling past weaponry while dramatically increasing the size of the threat.
