The release of the eagerly anticipated Star Wars video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is weeks away, and Electronic Arts has released an action-packed launch trailer for the upcoming title.
Taking place after the events of Revenge of the Sith, the Galactic Empire continues its galaxy-wide purge of the Jedi, hunting for the order as it tightens its control. The trailer shows new protagonist Cal Kestis tired of running from his destiny, battling everything from Sith Inquisitors to AT-ST walkers with his trusty blue lightsaber.
Allied with the fledgling Rebel Alliance, Cal explores ancient ruins of a long-lost civilization on the fringes of the galaxy, hoping to discover a secret to turn the tide in the ongoing Galactic Civil War while encountering Imperial Troops along the way.
The upcoming third-person action title sees Cal discovered by the Empire after instinctively using his Force powers, with the footage captured by an Imperial probe droid. Now pursued by the Sith Inquisitors, the combat shown in the trailer blends Force powers with lightsaber mastery as Cal races to save the Alliance.
Developed by Respawn and published by Electronic Arts, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Nov. 15.
