The first gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order didn't exactly impress gamers, who expressed disinterest in the linearity of the gameplay, as well as the underwhelming combat encounters. What's more, the 14-minute trailer didn't seem to showcase anything that journalists seemed to experience when trying out the demo at E3. However, that has now been rectified with the release of an extended gameplay trailer online.

This new trailer is far longer, clocking in at 24 minutes thanks to the virtual destroyer-full of new sequences that were cut from the original footage released to the public. The extended trailer includes a sequence in which Cal infiltrates and pilots an AT-AT, a combat encounter with an AT-ST, an extended conversation with Cal's allies and much more.

If fans weren't already taken in by the original gameplay trailer, there's a chance the extended clip will change their minds. That the game will offer a variety of ways to tackle a particular situation should be a little clearer, as well as the impressiveness of some of the combat encounters, which would rival any Hollywood film in terms of scale. However, what viewers should keep in mind when judging the combat is that -- as many who've demoed the game have noted -- the trailers don't show how difficult it is to pull some of these moves off.

Developed by Respawn and published by Electronic Arts, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order arrives on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC Nov. 15. Gotham star Cameron Monaghan provides the voice of Cal.
