When Lucasfilm at long last revealed the main cast of Star Wars: Episode VII on Tuesday, many were quick to point out that, aside from franchise veteran Carrie Fisher, there was just one woman on the list, relative newcomer Daisy Ridley. However, it appears as if J.J. Abrams & Co. aren't finished just yet.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "several sources" indicate there's still another substantial female role to be revealed -- quite possibly the one for which Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o met with Abrams. Young actress Maisie Richardson-Sellers was also rumored only recently to have met with the filmmaker, but it's unclear for what role.

The new addition would join the previously announced previously announced newcomers Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow, and franchise veterans Fisher, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker.

Star Wars: Episode VII opens Dec. 18, 2015.
