"Disney Infinity 3.0" is official, as announced on the cover of the June issue of Game Informer. And as widely expected, it's "Star Wars"-centric; much like how the 2.0 edition of the all-ages "toy-to-life" video game franchise was focused on Marvel's roster of superheroes.

Game Informer disclosed that "Disney Infinity 3.0," scheduled for release in the fall, will include characters and situations from both existing trilogies, and, as evidenced by the presence of Ahsoka Tano on the magazine's cover, the "Clone Wars" era. The "Twilight of the Republic" playset will feature Anakin and Ahsoka; "Rise Against the Empire" is described as a "highlight reel" of the original trilogy, starring Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Darth Vader. A "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" playset is also planned for release this winter.

"Star Wars" characters aren't the only new additions on the horizon: figures based on Pixar's upcoming "Inside Out" are on the way, along with an "Avengers: Age of Ultron" inspired Hulkbuster Iron Man and Ultron himself, characters from "Tron: Legacy" and Disney Originals like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Mulan and Olaf from "Frozen."

"Disney Infinity 3.0" is scheduled for release this fall on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, iOS and Android. Here's Game Informer's full cover, featuring many of the new additions to the game:
