According to EA, the digital expansion pack includes two new playable heroes -- Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic -- a new multi-stage game mode mixing space and ground combat, and four new maps, including one featuring the beaches of Scarif, the tropical planet showcased in the "Rogue One" trailers.

The fourth and final planned expansion to "Battlefront," Scarif will be released Dec. 6 alongside the free DLC "X-wing VR Mission." This immersive virtual reality add-on requires both the PlayStation VR and PlayStation Camera and places players in the cockpit of an X-wing for a variety of Rebel missions.

Directed by Gareth Edwards from a script by Gary Whitta and Chris Weitz, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Diego Luna and Riz Ahmed. The film opens Dec. 15 in the United Kingdom and Dec. 16 in North America.
