The trailer goes into more detail about the story and how it explores the idea of telling a more Imperial-centric Star Wars tale while bridging the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. The video also explores the characterizations of protagonist Iden Versio, her father Admiral Versio and Arrow star Paul Blackthorne's Gideon Hask.

Speaking about the project, Iden Versio actress Janina Gavankar says, "This is the culmination of all the things that are good in the world: video games, Star Wars and a team of people that are willing to take the time to do the work."
