A new trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 highlights a brand new game mode, Starfighter Assault.

A month after a new trailer went behind the scenes of Star Wars Battlefront 2, we have our first look at the mode which showcases the Millennium Falcon and, of course, plenty of lens flare. A Starfighter Assault demonstration will be livestreamed by EA on Monday, August 21 via Gamescom.

The new game mode basically results in a huge 24-player battle in space. There are three eras to choose from: the prequel, original, and sequel trilogies. In the trailer, we see Resistance X-Wing Starfighters and the aforementioned Millennium Falcon attack a patrol of First Order fighters, clearing a path to the First Order Star Destroyer. Arriving in November 17 on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, Battlefront II introduces a new story mode that begins with the Battle of Endor and continues through the birth of the First Order. You’ll play as a new character, Commander Iden Versio, leader of the Galactic Empire’s elite Inferno Squad, who sees victory on Endor slip from her grasp with the destruction of the second Death Star. As Iden’s team sets off on “an extraordinary odyssey of revenge, betrayal and redemption,” players are taken on a 30-year journey from the events of Return of the Jedi to The Force Awakens, encountering key figures from Star Wars history along the way.
