At the closing of Star Wars Celebration VI, George Lucas announced that 3D versions of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith will arrive in theaters back to back late next year.

Following the $102.8 million worldwide success of the 3D version of Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace, Lucas is working on the next two films, releasing Episodes II and III in chronological order: Attack of the Clones 3D will debut Sept. 20, 2013, followed three weeks later by Revenge of the Sith 3D on Oct. 11, 2013.

That's all well and good, but what die-hard Star Wars fans really want to know when the original trilogy gets the 3D treatment.
