Since his debut at the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise over 30 years ago in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Captain Jean-Luc Picard has led the venerable Star Trek franchise beyond the legacy of the original series and become one of the most iconic, fan-favorite characters in all of science fiction.

As principal photography continues on CBS All Access' upcoming Star Trek: Picard, featuring star Patrick Stewart's eagerly anticipated return as the legendary Starfleet officer, the network has released a promo spotlighting the character's enduring impact through interviews with the cast and crew of Star Trek: Discovery.
