Given that the tweet states "Let the countdown begin," it's safe to assume more of these teases will arriving in the coming weeks as CBS gears up for the expansion of its web-based Star Trek offerings. Of course, we also recently learned Patrick Stewart almost turned down the role of Jean-Luc Picard, making it even more amazing that the character now has his own series after all these years.

Though the new tease doesn't offer fans much, we've already seen a trailer for Star Trek: Picard which catches up with the members of Next Generation in the show's timeline.
