Star Trek fans rejoice! Perhaps the most popular installment in the long-spanning sci-fi franchise, The Wrath of Khan, is returning to theaters, if only for a short run.

The Starship Enterprise is flying back onto the big screen for a special 35th anniversary celebration, with showtimes scheduled for September 10 and September 13, only. In addition to allowing fans to take off on a nostalgia trip, audiences will witness a brand-new interview with Admiral Kirk himself, William Shatner, as the actor reflects on the adventure the Star Trek franchise took him on.

This special event, featuring a digitally remastered Director's Cut of the film, will be screened in over 600 movie theaters. Tickets can be purchased online from Fathom Events. Once again, audiences will be able to witness Shatner's Kirk leading his loyal crew - which includes Leonard Nimoy's Spock, George Takei's Sulu, and James Doohan's Scotty - in a race against time to stop Khan from deploying a universe-threatening device.

“Making Star Trek II seems like only yesterday,” Shatner said in an official statement for the re-release. “Even back then, we knew we were creating something really special, and to have The Wrath of Khan back on the big screen 35 years later is a wonderful testament both to the film itself and to the incredible passion of Star Trek fans.”

Catch Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan in select theaters only on September 10 and 13.
