CBS is set to bring their upcoming Star Trek series, Star Trek: Discovery, to Comic-Con International: San Diego.RELATED: Jonathan Frakes to Direct a Star Trek: Discovery Episode.Star Trek: Discovery, which marks the franchise's return to the small screen, is confirmed to have a panel at the upcoming Comic-Con. The CBS digital series will take the stage in Ballroom 20 on Saturday, July 22, at 2:30 PM PT. While cast and crew have been teased to appear on the panel, as of right now, an official announcement regarding which cast members and crew will attend has yet to be made.

The show is set to kick off its 15-episode first season beginning this September, and while some details have been revealed here and there, there's still plenty unknown regarding the latest entry into the Star Trek franchise. With the cast and crew confirmed for Comic-Con, however, that looks set to change.

Premiering Sunday, Sept. 24, at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and its digital-streaming platform CBS All Access, Star Trek: Discovery stars Sonequa Martin-Green as First Officer Michael Burnham, Jason Isaacs as Captain Lorca, Michelle Yeoh as Captain Georgiou, Doug Jones as Science Officer Lt. Saru and Anthony Rapp as astromycologist Lt. Stamets, with Rainn Wilson appearing as Harry Mudd. The series will also have a companion show, titled Talking Trek, although details regarding that project are scarce at the moment.
