The cast of "Star Trek Beyond" pays tribute to franchise veteran Leonard Nimoy in the final video for the “Star Trek: To Boldly Go” Omaze campaign.

"Leonard was an actor, a champion of the arts and a true inspiration to so many," Zachary Quinto says. "Through his legendary portrayal of Spock, he influenced countless scientists and artists, myself and the rest of the cast included. It was an honor and a privilege to know him and to call him a friend."

Nimoy, who reprised his iconic role as Spock for 2009's "Star Trek" and the 2013 sequel "Star Trek Into Darkness," passed away in February at age 83.

The "To Boldly Go" campaign offer fans who donate $10 or more a chance to win a walk-on role on the Paramount Pictures sequel. The money benefits nine charities.

Directed by Justin Lin, “Star Trek Beyond” also stars Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, John Cho and Idris Elba. The film opens July 8, 2016.
