Spider-Woman strikes store, makes off with cash and cigarettes

Proving J. Jonah Jameson right time and again, Spider-Man in the past year alone has stolen $6,000 in cash, fought two Captain Americas, been arrested following a robbery and held up a convenience store. Now it appears the wall-crawler has found an ally: Spider-Woman.

According to Philadelphia’s CBS affiliate, police in Dover, Delaware, are searching for a woman wearing a Spider-Man sweatshirt and carrying a handgun who demanded money and cigarettes at a Royal Farms convenience store. The clerks wasted no time in handing over the smokes and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The mysterious Spider-Woman fled on South State Street, but given the demand for cigarettes, it seems unlikely she was moving very fast.
