Marvel's latest Infinite Comic, "The Spider(fly) Effect" takes Spider-Man and Silk, tosses them through the time stream and watches as the pair figure out how to return to their proper era without changing the course of history.

In an interview with ComicVine, series writer Robbie Thompson explains that the story is set in current continuity -- in fact, the entire storyline takes place in-between the pages of "Silk" #3, with "some fun overlaps for folks that have read that issue."

Written by Thompson and illustrated by Todd Nauck, with a cover by Scott Forbes, the digital comic debuts in January, with a printed collection arriving in March.
