Footage from the highly anticipated Spider-Man video game debuted earlier this week at E3, but that was only the beginning.

Sony Pictures Virtual Reality announced a new VR experience for Spider- Man: Homecoming that will enable users sling webs and battle the Vulture -- 0r, you know, pretend to while waving their arms around. The Spider-Man: Homecoming Virtual Reality Experience will be available on major VR platforms June 30, just a week ahead of the film's premiere.

Peter Parker himself, actor Tom Holland, provides a brief introduction to the game's trailer.

"Before you begin, a warning: The suit is not indestructible, so do be careful out there," Holland cautions. "And please, please, please bring it back clean, OK?"

The actual game footage in is brief, but it gives an idea of what the Spider-Man POV play looks like (as well as the briefest glimpse of the Vulture). The style may make viewers nostalgic for the seminal Spider-Man 2 video game, in which they could roam the streets of New York as the friendly neighborhood web-slinger.

The Spider-Man: Homecoming Virtual Reality Experience will be available on PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and more June 30. Director Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters July 7.
