In several new pieces of concept art from Spider-Man: Homecoming, everyone's favorite Webhead experiences some of his trademark Parker luck.Early on in the film, Tom Holland's Spider-Man ditches a party and chases down a pair of criminals selling illegal alien weapons. During his pursuit, he winds up facing off against the Vulture (Michael Keaton), who hoists him high above New York City and dumps him in a river. The nighttime battle was sequenced by Marvel Studios' visual development head Ryan Meinerding, who has released some art he did for the scene -- which he described as "really cool" -- on his Twitter.RELATED: Tom Holland on Spider-Man Poster: ‘That is Actually Me Asleep’

The scene in question was adapted pretty much directly, right down to our friendly neighborhood hero almost drowning from the parachute that Tony Stark put in his suit. In addition to his concepts, Meinerding is responsible for the three-part Avengers: Infinity War poster and the Black Panther poster that were given away at this year's Comic-Con International in San Diego.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently in theaters and stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man and Michael Keaton as Vulture. The film also features Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.
