Hawkeye actor Vincent D'Onofrio revealed he wants Kingpin to appear in a potential Spider-Man 4.

Speaking to The Sarah O'Connell Show, D'Onofrio discussed the potential for Kingpin to appear as the main villain in a future installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man franchise. "I want it as much as everybody does, so we'll see," he teased.

The actor reiterated that he's more than happy to continue playing the role of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in future MCU projects. "It's very clear to [Marvel] that I want to keep playing this part; I'm just beginning to have fun with it and I still think that there's so much more to do with this character so I'm just hoping that I do get a call," he said. "That would be really nice."

D'Onofrio also touched on some of the Marvel characters he would like to see Kingpin face off against in the future. "It's obvious that Punisher, Daredevil, Spider-Man are the ones that my character is tied to in the comic books, but there's plenty room for others," D'Onofrio said. "I can just only hope that that happens. I mean Spider-Man, definitely, like I think that would be really, really fun."

In the comics, Kingpin is a major crime lord in New York City that often battles Spider-Man, although the two characters have yet to meet on screen. D'Onofrio's Kingpin was last seen in Netflix's Daredevil before making his MCU arrival in Hawkeye Episode 5 as Eleanor Bishop's partner in crime. Hawkeye's cliffhanger ending saw Maya Lopez confront Kingpin about the death of her father, firing a gun at Fisk from point-blank range and leaving his fate unclear.

While it's extremely unlikely that Marvel would bring Kingpin into the MCU just to kill him off after two episodes, D'Onofrio confirmed he's yet to sign on for any further MCU projects. "No, [I'm not currently signed on for more Marvel projects.] I've been through this before with Daredevil," he revealed. "It's very clear to them all that I really want to play this part, keep playing it. You know, I'm just hoping that continues. I'm just beginning to have fun with it."
