According to, creator Todd McFarlane has begun work on a script for a new “Spawn” film. This film will not be a sequel and McFarlane notes “the tone of this ‘Spawn’ movie will be for a more older audience. Like the film ‘Departed.'”

Entertainment Weekly posted a preview of the upcoming season. It features the black suit, Metallo, and even a little bit of Zod. Proceed with caution if you’re avoiding spoilers.
