<i>Source Code</i> Making Jump To TV

Producer Mark Gordon is teaming with ABC Studios to bring a version of his techno-thriller Source Code to CBS.

The Duncan Jones-directed film starred Jake Gyllenhaal as a decorated soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers he’s part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. The movie, which opened in the United States in April, grossed more than $123 million worldwide.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the TV series is an action/procedural that follows three former federal agents who are part of a top-secret program that utilizes “Source Code” technology to leap into the consciousness of those involved in tragic events.

Steven Maeda (Lost, The X-Files) will write the pilot, with Gordon on board as producer.
