UPDATE 7:48 AM: AMC has confirmed to CBR News that Chandler Riggs has not appeared on "Fear The Walking Dead."

Fans watching the latest episode of "Fear The Walking Dead" fired up their Twitter accounts on Sunday when a potentially familiar face hurried across their screens.

At one point during the episode, a disheveled young man, with unkempt hair and a flannel shirt, was seen among the Los Angeles residents attempting to escape their increasingly zombie-ridden situation. Viewers quickly noted that the unnamed extra resembles Chandler Riggs, who portrays Carl Grimes on AMC's original zombie drama, "The Walking Dead."

Of course, it's most likely not Riggs at all, but even if it was the actor making an Easter egg-style cameo, fans shouldn't read too much into it. Not only was Carl on the other side of the country when the outbreak began, he was only 11 years old at the time.
