Can’t get enough of Kaare Andrews’ unique style of artwork he provides for Marvel Comics month in and month out? Marvel Comics certainly thinks so and we’re inclined to agree.
On Monday CBR brought you an interview with Kaare Andrews in which he describes the process of creating his first cover for the ongoing Hulk series with an exclusive look at that cover. Today, Marvel Marketing Guru and all around keen guy Bill Rosemann sent out a press release containing more of Kaare’s artwork, this time the cover to Amazing Spider-Man #36. Starting in October Kaare will be the ongoing cover artist for the title, joining the creative team of writer J. Michael Straczynski and penciler John Romita Jr..
“Kaare excelled with the Peter Parker: Spider-Man covers he did for me,”
said Sr. Editor Axel Alonso in the release. “So when it came time to select a new cover artist, his dynamic style and love for the character sealed the deal.”
A description of the issue, which hits stands October 10th, was provided by Marvel:
