SMALLVILLE

Wizard Magazine talked to actor James Marsters about his upcoming return to the hit WB series. "I am so gonna sucker Clark. ItÕs not just Kryptonite thatÕs his vulnerability, itÕs his own naivetŽ at this point in his life, and IÕm going to go after that. IÕm going to separate him from everybody who loves him, take his friends away, take his family away, isolate him, and then IÕm going to corrupt his mind. God help the world when Superman is confused."

While we're at it TV Guide has a heapin' helpin' of spoilers in a feature they did on the show.

Finally, the venerable Kryptonsite has fresh rumors about scenes in production and possible comebacks.

TRANSFORMERS

Every rumor becomes more official when you see it in a major trade publication, like the Hollywood Reporter -- apparently, Shia LeBeouf is getting ready to "roll out" as Spike Witwicky.

SPIDER-MAN 3

In the realm of the speculative, IGN's FilmForce rounds up all the rumored spoilers on who's who and what's what, including attributions. How helpful!

Meanwhile, in the world of the more concrete, Latino Review has a set report about the web-spinning sequel, with photos and links to earlier reports at other sites.

SIN CITY 2

Creator Frank Miller talked to MTV about the sequel, and who we can expect to return for more noir-ish goodness. The article said, "Marv died in 'Sin City' -- but that doesn't mean Mickey Rourke won't be back for the sequel. Ditto for Dwight (Clive Owen), Shellie (Brittany Murphy), Nancy (Jessica Alba), Manute (Michael Clarke Duncan), Gail (Rosario Dawson) and the rest of the Old Town gang. That's because 'Sin City' is the 'Pulp Fiction' of comic-book adaptations -- since the interlinking stories aren't linear, when it comes time for the next installment in theaters, you'll get a prequel and a sequel at the same time. 'It jumps around a bit," writer/co-director Frank Miller said, 'but mostly it's one story, incorporating some short stories that weave in and out of that.'"

SUPERMAN RETURNS

ICv2 is reporting that Titan Books has acquired the worldwide license for an official scriptbook for Bryan Singer's DC adaptation. Titan's "Superman Returns: The Shooting Script" is slated for publication on June 30th and will present the full original screenplay by Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris (based on the story by Bryan Singer and Michael Dougherty) alongside storyboards and exclusive input from the writers and director Bryan Singer.

BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY

Here's where you get in on the action. Did you see a link we didn't catch? Have you snuck into a closed movie set, and have inside data? Maybe your cousin is dating somebody who knows something, and they had to tell you? Whatever it is, we wanna know it all -- fire off an email and let us know whether you want your name used or your contributions to geekdom to go down anonymously. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is novelist/karaoke host/all-around lunatic Hannibal Tabu saying thanks for your time and indulgence, you should see fresh comics reviews online some time today (they're in, just waiting for the site to load 'em), and [tagline sent back to development hell until something hipper can be dreamed up].
