Smallville, Punisher: War Zone, Robotech: November 17th Comic Reel

SMALLVILLE

Apparently Lois will be taking a break from the show, and Kryptonsite knows exactly how long. Kryptonsite also has screen captures from the November 20th episode, “Bride” and fresh spoilers for the season’s 15th episode “Infamous.”

Next episode: “Bride,” November 20th.

PUNISHER: WAR ZONE

HERO BY NIGHT

The Hollywood Reporter also reports that IM Global and Platinum Studios will develop D.J. Coffman’s indie property into a live action TV series (which reinforces the press release we ran last week).

No release date announced.

THE SPIRIT

CORALINE

Wired Magazine has a new video interview featuring writer Neil Gaiman talking about the stop-motion adaptation of his work … oh, and here it is as well …

DEAD OF NIGHT

Director Kevin Monroe talked to Shock Till You Drop, about the Brandon Routh vehicle. “His world is everything and the kitchen sink so with this one we don’t have anything quite as broad as, say, ‘Hellboy II’ where you go to the [Troll Market] with different creatures, but here it’s a little bit more classic for the first movie and in the second [film] you go a bit deeper.”

No release date announced.

RED SONJA

Ready for a new sword-swinging poster? That’d be over at Movieset.

No release date announced.

WATCHMEN

MTV has posted new photos and a new video from the film as well …

ROBOT CHICKEN: STAR WARS 2

CBR News has a discussion with writer Matt Seinreich.

DRINKY CROW

Mania has the second part of their interview with creator Tony Millionaire, talking about the show. “When you’ve got an 11 minute show, you can really get into the whole explanation of the relationship and it gets funnier and funnier the deeper it goes,” Millionaire said. “You’ve also got body language, and the other thing that really surprised me were the voices.  I would see something written down in the script and I would be, ‘this isn’t that funny,’ but when you hear the actors say it and I realize, ‘well that is funny, it just depends on how you say it.'”

Series debut: November 23rd, 2008.

I CAN’T WORK UNDER THESE CONDITIONS

If you have the scoop on anything related to comic book movies, TV adaptations or just want to give us a truck full of cash, no questions asked, drop us a line and let’s coordinate. You can choose an alias if you’d like, or be mentioned by name — we honor requests for anonymity. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is your humble scribe Hannibal Tabu saying thanks for your time and indulgence, and The Hundred and Four doesn’t like SoCal ablaze, ashes on the car, nor the smoke from 800 burned homes in their lungs.
