In a new clip for "Melinda," this week's episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," Jiaying (Dichen Lachman) has a lot to teach Skye (Chloe Bennett) about her Inhuman abilities.

The clip shows the mother-daughter duo in Afterlife, a place where people like them find refuge from the human world. Standing above a mountain range, Jiaying explains to Skye how her powers might work and tells her to feel for the earth's natural vibrations in a stone -- only for Skye to turn her attention to something much, much larger.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs Tuesdays at 9 pm EST on ABC.
