Looking for an advance look at things to come for Sony's "Amazing Spider-Man" franchise? The studio recently sent out a press release about an Easter egg found by using mobile music-identification app Shazam during the credits sequence of Marc Webb's "Amazing Spider-Man 2," debuting on May 2 in the United States. While fans certainly can wait until the end credits of the film to identify "It's On Again" by Alicia Keys (featuring Kendrick Lamar) and see the special clip, the bonus content is actually available right now, and can be seen by anyone with a smartphone and the Shazam app. The song is currently available to listen to on YouTube, and the Shazam content unlocks instantly after identifying the song.

As for the content itself, there's a lot going on in the clip, but the long and the short of it is that it teases the members of the film universe's Sinister Six, which includes "Amazing Spider-Man 2" villains the Green Goblin and the Rhino, but also Doctor Octopus, the Vulture, Kraven the Hunter and a masked with smoke (possibly indicating either Chameleon or Mysterio).

"At the tail end of ['Amazing Spider-Man 2'] we set up some of the other characters that will probably end up being in the Sinister Six," Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal said in March. "We're going forward on all fronts."

Check out screens from the video below, each teasing a different member of Sony's Sinister Six.
