The population of Sin City continues it rapid expansion with the addition of Julia Garner to the cast of A Dame to Kill For.

Deadline reports the up-and-coming actress, who appeared in Martha Marcy May Marlene and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, will play a stripper opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt's cocky gambler Johnny in the segment "The Long, Bad Night."

Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, the sequel to 2005's Sin City weaves together the second volume of Miller’s acclaimed Dark Horse crime series and the short story “Just Another Saturday Night” with new tales. The screenplay was written by Oscar winner William Monahan (The Departed).

Garner joins a growing ensemble that includes returning cast members Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson and Jaime King, along with new additions Gordon-Levitt, Dennis Haysbert, Jamie Chung, Christopher Meloni, Ray Liotta, Juno Temple and Jeremy Piven.

Sin City grossed nearly $159 million worldwide. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens Oct. 4.
