Silvestri's "Dark Knight III" Variant is Ready to Kick Mutant Ass

Marc Silvestri lent his talents to DC Comics for a new variant cover of Frank Miller's "Dark Knight III: The Master Race" #1, seen here in color and black and white. Silvestri unveiled the black and white version on his Facebook; the color version will be available in print exclusively at Midtown Comics.

The variant is the latest reveal from the line of alternate covers announced by DC, which includes contributions from Matt Wagner, Josh Middleton, Dave Gibbons, Lee Bermejo, Rafael Albuquerque, Tyler Kirkham, Klaus Janson and Eduardo Risso.

The sequel to the seminal "Dark Knight Returns" and its early 2000's follow-up "The Dark Knight Strikes Again," "Dark Knight III: The Master Race" is written by Frank Miller and Brian Azzarello, featuring art from Andy Kubert and frequent Miller collaborator Klaus Janson. "The Dark Knight III: The Master Race" #1 is scheduled for release on Nov. 25.
