Earlier this year, Arrowverse fans were shocked by not one, but two engagement announcements. First, The Flash star Grant Gustin announced his engagement to girlfriend LA Thoma. A couple of months later, Arrow star Katie Cassidy posted an Instagram photo with her new fiancé Matthew Rodgers. Soon, Grant and Katie will be joining the growing club of married actors in the Arrowverse. While the cast of all four shows is predominantly young, a number of lead as well as recurring Arrowverse actors have been happily married for quite some time.

RELATED: The 15 Super-Attractive Real Life Significant Others Of MCU Actors

But being married to a star of a popular TV show such as Arrow or The Flash cannot be an easy task. Long hours and frequent travelling don’t allow for a lot of spare time to spend with the family. However, these awesome couples somehow manage to balance their professional and personal lives. Our admiration especially goes to those spouses who aren’t in the entertainment business but support their husbands and wives behind the scenes. So, in honor of these spectacular humans, we have compiled a list of 15 super-attractive significant others of Arrowverse actors. Full disclosure, the list is not purely based on looks, but also on personality and adorableness of the couple in question.

15 ASHLEY SPENCER

Jeremy Jordan Ashley Spencer

Supergirl’s super-nerdy Winn Schott has a lot in common with the actor who plays him on the show. Much like his character, Jeremy Jordan is extremely awkward when it comes to women. According to Jeremy, he met his wife Ashley Spencer on a sort of a blind date after having only met her on Facebook. He was awkward and shy, and she was gorgeous and tall.

He took her to dinner, drinks, karaoke and with a little liquid courage he managed to win her heart. The happy couple has been married since 2012. Ashley Spencer is primarily a Broadway actress, known for her performances in musicals such as Hairspray and Grease. Ashley also competed on NBC’s Grease: You’re the One that I Want and came in second.

14 CHANNING TATUM

Jenna Dewan Tatum Channing Tatum

Jenna Dewan Tatum and her hubby Channing Tatum have already become an iconic Hollywood couple, in the league with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. In the Arrowverse, Jenna appeared in a couple of episodes of Supergirl as Lucy, James Olsen’s girlfriend and Lois Lane’s younger sister.

Jenna Dewan Tatum's famous husband, Channing Tatum, needs no introduction. Jenna and Channing met on the set of the 2005 dance movie, Step Up. Shortly after filming had finished, Jenna and Channing started dating and by 2009 they were married. In 2013, the couple welcomed their first child. In recent years, Channing has starred in movies such as Magic Mike XXL and 22 Jump Street. The actor is also set to star as the titular mutant in the eagerly awaited 2019 Gambit movie.

13 ITALIA RICCI

Robbie Amell Italia Ricci

Italia Ricci and Robbie Amell both appeared in the Arrowverse, but on different shows. Robbie Amell portrayed Ronnie Raymond on The Flash and together with professor Stein formed the first Firestorm, prior to his death. On the other hand, his IRL wife, Italia Ricci played Siobhan Smythe, aka Silver Banshee on the first season of Supergirl.

Italia Ricci and Robbie Amell started dating in 2008 and have been together ever since. Robbie Amell had two weddings in just two years. First on The Flash to Caitlin Snow and the second to his finacee Italia Ricci. Italia currently plays Emily Rhodes on ABC's exciting political drama Designated Survivor, while her husband is set to reprise his role as Agent Miller in the upcoming season 11 of The X-Files. Sadly, their characters didn’t get to meet in the Arrowverse. However, what with all the different universes and alternate timelines, anything can happen.

12 LEAH RENEE CUDMORE

Nick Zano Leah Renee Cudmore

Nate Haywood may have relationship issues with his sweetheart Amaya, but the actor who portrays him already has a girlfriend and one-year-old son. Nick Zano and his girlfriend, Leah Renee Cudmore, have been very low-key about their relationship prior to the pregnancy. The couple started dating in 2013 and last year they welcomed a baby boy into their family. Nick’s Instagram is filled with adorable photos of his son and Leah, which will warm up your heart.

Nick’s beautiful girlfriend Leah Renee Cudmore is a Canadian actress and singer. Leah has had a number of recurring roles in TV series such as, Blue Mountain State, Runaway and Satisfaction. However, she's most known for co-starring Bunny Alice in NBC's The Playboy Club. In 2009, she released an album titled Storybook.

11 MATTHEW RODGERS

Engagements, weddings and babies seem to be in season in the Arrowverse. In June this year, Katie Cassidy, aka Laurel Lance from Arrow, announced her engagement to boyfriend Matthew Rodgers. The couple got engaged during their vacation on the East African island of Mauritius. The 30-year-old actress posted a romantic celebratory photo on her Instagram announcing the good news.

Not much is known about Katie Cassidy’s fiancé since he’s not a public personality. The actress didn’t publicize her relationship with her new boyfriend, apart from a number of pictures on social media. But from what we can gather, Katie Cassidy and Matthew Rodgers seem like a happy and loving couple. So, congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Black Canary, and may those smiles forever grace your faces.

10  CASSANDRA JEAN AMELL

Stephen Amell Cassandra Jean

Arrow star Stephen Amell is known for posting tones of adorable photos of his wife and four-year-old daughter on his Facebook and Instagram. The actor married his wife, Cassandra Jean, back in 2012 in a private ceremony in the Caribbean. And if you think Cassandra looks familiar for some reason, here’s how you may know her.

Cassandra Jean was born in Houston, Texas and has competed in numerous beauty pageants, such as Miss Houston Teen USA. In 2005, Cassandra was a contestant on America’s Next Top Model, but quit the competition in episode four. Cassandra didn’t like her dark brown hair being dyed blond and cut short, so after they decided to cut it even shorter she packed her bags and left the competition. Clearly, Mrs. Green Arrow doesn't mess around.

9 PATRICK BROWN

Laura Benanti Patrick Brown

Earlier this summer it was announced that Laura Benanti is leaving the Arrowverse due to major commitments in New York and inability to travel to Vancouver for filming. The Tony Award-winning actress will most definitely be dearly missed on the show. However, we’re also excited to see what the Smallville alum Erica Durance will do with the role of Astra Zor-El.

One of the possible reasons for Benanti's departure is the newest addition to her family. In February 2017, Benanti gave birth to daughter, Ella Rose. Ella's father and Benanti’s husband is Patrick Brown, a New York businessman. The couple tied the knot in November 2015 after a short engagement. This amazing actress, activist and proud mom often posts adorable photos of her happy family on social media.

8  CHRIS WOOD

Melissa Benoist Chris Wood

Supergirl star Melissa Benoist is officially dating her co-star Chris Wood. The couple’s on-screen chemistry must have transferred off-screen. Melissa Benoist was previously married to her former Glee co-star Blake Jenner, who also played Cat Grant’s son on Supergirl's first season. In 2016, the actress filed for divorce and earlier this year started dating Chris Wood.

Melissa and Chris met while filming season two of Supergirl after Chris Wood was cast as Kara’s love interest, Mon-El. Fans of the show went crazy about the adorableness of the on-screen couple and were only too happy to learn that they started dating in real life. Recently, Melissa and Chris launched the website "I Don’t Mind" in an attempt to put a stop to the stigma around mental illness.

7 TROIAN BELLISARIO

Patrick J. Adams Troian Bellisario

When Suits star Patrick J. Adams popped up at the end of season one finale of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow everyone was expecting Hourman to be a big part of season two. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Adams only appeared in one episode and was immediately killed by Reverse-Flash. While we get that Adams is busy working on USA Network’s thrilling legal drama Suits, we'd be more than happy if the CW were to bring him back.

And while they’re at it, they may as well cast his lovely wife Troian Bellisario too. Seems only natural, given that they both appeared on Suits as well as on Pretty Little Liars. Patrick J. Adams and the Pretty Little Liars star met in 2009 on the set of the play Equivocation and started dating. The couple got married in December last year.

6 MICHAEL ARDEN

Andy Mientus Michael Arden

On the CW’s The Flash, Andy Mientus portrayed Hartley Rathaway, aka Pied Piper, who was last seen in season two episode 17, "Flash Back." Apart from appearing on The Flash, Andy is best known for his portrayal of Kyle Bishop on the musical TV series Smash.

Andy’s husband is Michael Arden, who's an actor, singer, composer and stage director. Andy and Michael have been together since 2010. The couple met during the opening night party of the Broadway show The Times They Are-a-Changin’ in which Michael was a performer. Michael and Andy planned proposals to each other on the same day without the other knowing. The couple married in August, 2016. Michael Arden is best known for Source Code, Anger Management and Bride Wars.

5 PETER KUPCHICK

Juliana Harkavy Peter Kupchick

Arrow’s new Black Canary, Juliana Harkavy, tied the knot back in 2014. The actress married her long-time boyfriend, Peter Kupchick, son of the Connecticut State Representative Brenda Kupchick. Juliana and Peter have been together for ten years and share a deep passion for animal rescue, specifically pit bulls.

But who is Juliana's mysterious husband? Unlike Juliana Harkavy, her husband Peter is not in the entertainment business. Not much is known about Peter Kupchick, except that he graduated from Northeastern University in Boston and has worked as a finance manager and marketing director. Peter and Juliana currently live in Los Angeles, California with their three rescued dogs, named Beau, Lilly and Brooklyn. The 32-year-old actress often gushes over her awesome husband and their cute dogs on social media.

4 SCOTT GILL

John Barrowman Scott Gill

Arrow actor, John Barrowman, and his husband Scott Gill have been together for about 26 years. Frankly, we should all be so lucky. The couple met way back in 1991 during a production of Rope at Chichester Festival Theater. Apparently, Scott Gill had came to see John Barrowman in the play and it was love at first sight. In 2006, they entered into a civil partnership in Cardiff, Wales.

In 2013, the couple was finally legally married in an impromptu ceremony in Indio, California. According to an interview Barrowman gave, they were arguing about when one of them is going to propose when he suggested they just go and do it. They queued up with another 30 couples and got married with witnesses old enough to be their fathers.

3 COURTNEY FORD

Brandon Routh Courtney Ford

Actor Brandon Routh met his future wife Courtney Ford at a bar. Before he became Superman, Brandon worked as a barman at Hollywood’s Lucky Strike Lanes. In 2003, during a private party, actress Courtney Ford kept ordering cocktails from Brandon as an excuse to chat with him. In 2007, the couple got married and as of 2012 they have a son together.

Courtney Ford is best known for portraying Christine Hill on Showtime’s hit television series Dexter. The role came at the best possible moment, as Courtney was considering quitting her acting career. She was later cast in Supernatural, True Blood and Revenge. Earlier this year, it was announced that Courtney will be joining her husband on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as Eleanor Darhk, daughter of the villainous Damien Darhk.

2 NATHAN WEST

Chyler Leigh Nathan West

Supergirl’s Chyler Leigh met her future husband Nathan West at the age of 16 when they both attended auditions for the pilot of an unsuccessful TV show. The two started dating and often appeared as an on-screen couple as well, such as in 7th Heaven. Chyler and Nathan both had troubled childhoods and struggled with substance addiction for two years. Luckily, they got out in the nick of time and have been clean and sober since 2002. In 2002, the couple got married in a private ceremony in Alaska. They now have three children together.

Nathan West is best known for his roles in 7th Heaven and Bring It On. Currently, Nathan makes music as East of Elie and has recorded a song with his wife, titled "Nowhere." The adorable couple celebrated their fifteenth wedding anniversary in August this year.

1 LA THOMA

Grant Gustin LA Thoma

This year in April, The Flash star Grant Gustin announced his engagement to girlfriend Andrea LA Thoma. Grant posted a photo on Instagram, celebrating with his new fiancée. The couple has been dating since January 2016, during which time they have become the sweets of Instagram, posting countless adorable PDA photos.

Grant’s fiancée, the 28-year-old Andrea LA Thoma does not come from the entertainment world, therefore not much information about her is available. What we do know is that LA, as she goes by, was born in Malaysia and that she currently works in California. LA Thoma is a physical therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Obviously, Grant Gustin’s wife-to-be has both the looks and the smarts. Congratulations you two, we wish you both a lifetime of happiness.
