Though Venom may be the most famous of Spider-Man's symbiote adversaries, there's no one as frightening or deadly as Cletus Kassady, a.k.a. Carnage. Venom will eat your brains, but Carnage will torment you while singing Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird." Now, thanks to Sideshow Collectibles, you can own the monstrous villain and keep him in your own home.

Sideshow Collectibles is known for making extremely detailed statues and this new one of Carnage is no exception. If you look closely you can see the red and black Symbiote stretching across his body, its tendrils barely containing the mad man. His black tentacles criss-cross the statue and reach out menacingly.

One of Carnage's lesser known abilities is to morph his limbs and tentacles into various weaponry. This is reflected here in his left hand, warped into a big 'ol battleaxe. That can be swapped out for a regular hand if you prefer Carnage to look subtle, though subtlety has never been this maniac's strong suit.

All Sideshow statues have a decorative base. Carnage is of course crouched on a pile of rubble and steel, ready to vault off of it and eat an unsuspecting victim. Similarly, Sideshow Collectibles are usually sculpted and painted by not one, but a team of artists. More than eight designers, sculptors, and painters contributed to the final product.

Spider-Man is next slated to appear in the upcoming Marvel Studios and Sony collaboration "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Sony has wanted to include Symbiotes in the movie franchise for a while, and "Hamilton's" Lin-Manuel Miranda has surprisingly offered up his talents to play the character should Marvel want to bring him to film. Now you can own a realistic statue of the mad villain, one that brings the comic character to life before his inevitable big screen debut.
