And now here’s Wade …

Hello and welcome to this edition of Shelf Porn! The very origins of this collection goes back to being a child of the 80’s when both cartoons and toy lines were all the rage, it was as if you couldn’t have a cartoon with out a toy line or a toy line without a cartoon, none the less, a life long addiction/obsession and a never ending quest to be the ultimate fanboy had been born.

My “gate way drug” to both collecting action figures and comic books solely lays on Masters of the Universe. I’ve been regularly collecting comics since 1992 when the Death of Superman saga had hit mainstream society. Little did I know—that death is far from being a permanent thing in the comics medium.

My top Marvel Characters include: Spider man, Deadpool, Hulk, Thor and Captain America. Favorite DC characters are: Batman, Green Lantern, Flash and Booster Gold.

Comic runs I’ve enjoyed over the years are: The Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans, Mark Waid’s Fantastic Four, Peter David’s Incredible Hulk, Joe Kelly’s Deadpool, Ed Brubaker’s Captain America, J. Michael Straczynski’s Amazing Spiderman and John Byrne’s Superman.

Now, on to the tour….

This is where the bulk of my collection is you can see figures from DC Direct/Classics and my all time favorite line: Marvel Legends. I’ve arranged them by teams/supporting characters from their respective lines.

My video game setup and where my Star Wars figures are displayed.

Over in the corner I’ve got a display of Bat Mobiles, some randomly assorted video game/Horror movie figures and the Matty Collector version of the Ghost Busters as they appeared in Ghost Busters 2.

Just a glimpse of my video game collection going back to the Sears Telegames system all the way up the Playstation 4. Oh yeah, there’s another mish-mash of action figures on the shelf as well as on top of my long boxes.

Some carded figures and posters in this picture and in the center of the book shelf one of my favorite figures Macho Man Randy Savage as he appeared in Wrestle Mania 7.

More carded figures, mainly WWE and of course Jason’s mask and Freddy’s glove.

Yet another mish-mash of action figures, along with the original Castle Grey Skull and the one from the 2002 cartoon.

An extra shot of the middle shelf going all the way to the top where you can see some more Marvel Legends, some wrasslin’ figures, Transformers and some costume pieces.
